Last week, the 11th Bakery China Autumn was held at the Wuhan International Expo Center.
During the exhibition, Shanghai Chenpin Food Machinery had face-to-face exchanges with bakery and frozen food factory customers from across the country. For Chenpin, exhibiting is not just a showcase, but a way to stay on the industry frontline and understand customers' real needs. Chenpin has long been rooted in this industry, developing solutions around automated equipment for crust baking, and continuing to communicate with customers through exhibitions.
This year's exhibition was themed "From Trends to Practice," with short-shelf-life fresh foods, clean-label formulations, and smart manufacturing becoming hot topics. Many on-site activities centered on short shelf life, clean labels, and supply chain efficiency. Our biggest takeaway: the industry is no longer just discussing "whether to make fresh snacks," but asking "how to implement it." Behind the trends, what ultimately matters is factory-level production efficiency, batch consistency, and loss control.
At this exhibition, demand for automated production of staple foods such as flatbreads and bread was particularly prominent. Customers prioritized fully automated lines with stable capacity and easy operation, with core demands being reduced labor and consistent taste. In response to customers' differentiated capacity needs and process pain points, the technical team provided one-on-one on-site explanations. The entire production line supports customization and is compatible with multiple product categories, including frozen flatbreads and bread. It meets food safety standards and is suitable for factories' intelligent upgrading and transformation.
After three days of exhibiting, we gained a great deal and gained a clearer direction: food equipment should not only pursue speed, but also align with product craftsmanship—building adapted production lines around customers' products to truly help factories reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency. As fresh snacks move from trend to practice, what equipment companies need to do is make the trend land stably in factories.
During this trip to the Wuhan exhibition, we collected many real needs from the frontline. We will continue to iterate and optimize our equipment solutions, making production lines more practical and better aligned with actual factory production.
In May 2027, the 29th Bakery China will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in Hongqiao. Shanghai Chenpin Food Machinery looks forward to reuniting with industry friends in Shanghai and continuing in-depth exchanges on automated equipment for crust and bakery foods.
